Security Devices

CCTV

Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is a surveillance system that uses video cameras to monitor and record activities in specific areas. They are designed to capture video footage of specific areas for the purpose of surveillance, security, and monitoring.

A typical CCTV system consists of the following components:

Cameras: CCTV cameras are the primary components that capture video footage. They can be fixed in position or have the ability to pan, tilt, and zoom.

Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or Network Video Recorder (NVR): The DVR or NVR is responsible for storing and managing the video footage from the cameras. It may have built-in storage or connect to external storage devices

Monitors: Monitors are used to display live or recorded video footage from the cameras. They allow security personnel or operators to monitor the surveillance area in real-time.

Cables and Connectivity: CCTV systems require appropriate cabling and connectivity to transmit video signals from the cameras to the recording device or monitoring station.
Power Supply: Cameras and other components of the CCTV system require a power source for operation. This can be provided through electrical outlets or Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology.
